A guest appearance on Melodic Distraction sees KWAKE feature for an hour of deep acid house, electro and breakbeat cuts.

Originally coming up in Sheffield’s music scene playing dub and jungle, KWAKE changed tack a few years ago to become a more diverse DJ and producer, covering a wider range of genres from acid house to electro, breaks and beyond. His sound draws inspiration from his long-time love of early 90s hardcore and techno, combined with an obsession for hardware commonly associated with that era.

A regular on the City’s club circuit, past shows have included support slots for the likes of DJ Stingray 313, Altern8 and Chaos in the CBD. He also hosts a monthly show on Mondo Radio and frequently collaborates with other Sheffield-based DJs both in and out of the studio.
