Artist Oli / Ranga of the late Wide Open Reeds parties (RIP) holds the torch for a unique style and sound, featuring original productions and a soundtrack for the funny people that remain close to the cause of WIDE OPEN REAL LIQUID DANCE. His four-track EP ‘Kong’, landed at the end of February ’20 on Third Place Records. Tune in for clues to the next release.
This month, Oli is joined by London-based DJ/producer Mera Bhai for an hour of ‘Spiritual selections for Ranga’.
With roots in India alongside time spent growing up in Italy, Albania, Saudia Arabia, Dubai and Nigeria, Mera Bhai’s worldly influence seeps into his unique take on dance music. Known as a founding member of tropical-psychedelia band Flamingods the multi-instrumentalist has worked closely with Moshi Moshi Records Records and Total Refreshment Centre.
12th of Feb will see Mera Bhai release re-edited single ‘You, Me, Us’ ft. Andrew Ashong from debut EP ‘Futureproofing’ on Moshi Moshi Records. Join him for an hour of ‘Spiritual selections with Ranga!
