Ad Hoc is a Manchester-based record label that aims to discover and expose the city’s finest talent. While celebrating the rich electronic musical culture that Manchester is so famous for, it also captures a truly global sound.
Label owner David Burch launched Ad Hoc back in 2017, with a desire to represent the tight-knit electronic music community. His experiences as a party-goer in Manchester’s thriving club scene paired with time spent living abroad in Ghana have both informed his commitment to showcasing a broad spectrum of eclectic music. With an impressive roster including Yadava, Nymad, Sable Blanc and more, the label only promises to expand and thrive.
Today it turns the grand ol’ age of 2 and to celebrate, AH residents are throwing a party at The Merchant. The crew are also hitting London and Manchester with hand-picked guest selectors as part of their birthday tour. Here in Liverpool, label veterans Taurtollo, Sid Quirk and A. H. Dave will be joined by our pal ASJC Lee, so get down and have a boog!
