JIM is the latest project from close studio friend and Crazy P band member, Jim Barron aka Ron Basejam.
His forthcoming EP on Phat Phil Cooper’s NuNorthern Soul label reveals a musical tenderness, soft focus and acoustic temperament not often seen from a musician better known for his clubbier sounds.
Taking inspiration from the likes of Ned Doheny and Nick Drake, this folksy outing was created with just a guitar, some keys and Jim’s own voice.
