DRIFT is extremely proud to welcome the genre defying duo of Yao Bobby & Simon Grab to the airwaves as part of their UK tour for their new album.
The Togolese rapper Yao Bobby has been a long term collaborator with Swiss rhythmic noise producer Simon Grab, and together they create some seriously unique sounding music, with albums released on the likes of Bristol's LavaLava Records. Pitching intense freeform vocals against rumbling feedback analogue bass and percussion, the pair bring ridiculous energy to any live performance and this radio show promises to be no difference. Alongside them in the studio will be Dhanghsa, a pioneer of the distorted, mutant dancehall sound, for a very special joint live performance. If you enjoy this show, they will be performing live at Liverpool's Q U A RR Y 19:00 - 23:00 8th March - tickets available now!
Also Drift hosts Dhangsha for an interview and exclusive music!
