Melodic is teaming up with El Dorado Festival to bring you an exciting mix series in the lead up to the festival to showcase what you can expect at this year's edition!

First up, it's Theon Bower! Theon Bower, the DJ, Producer, Label Head and Organizer from London is quickly making a name for himself as one of the hardest-working figures on the underground music scene, playing out weekly across the capital and as well as hosting events and releasing music under his own brands, Pangaea Disco and Swung Out. Between his gigs, Theon leads the marketing efforts for El Dorado as part of their small team based in Haggerston.

"It's been a dream to join the team here at El Dorado as Festival Marketing Manager. Everyone is really passionate about the music and it's awesome watching the festival come together and know you've contributed. I originally got to know El Dorado when I DJed last year at the festival and jumped at the opportunity to get involved behind the scenes when the job came up. It's wicked to work with a team that know the importance of fostering local talent and working with smaller crews and collectives and this grass-roots approach is one of the things that really makes the festival feel like a big family. I've loved putting this mix together, I've tried to encapsulate what El Dorado means to me in the mix - good vibes only which for me comes in the form of ample proto-house and disco all the way through to the techier pumping end of my sound in the space of an hour. It's wicked to have Melodic Distraction involved this year and I'm looking forward to having a dance with you guys on site!"
