DRIFT is a mix series based in Edinburgh, giving DJs a chance to step back from their usual dancefloor fillers.

It offers DJs the opportunity to create a blend that twists and turns through genres not typically heard in a club setting. This freedom allows for lots of room for experimentation in mixes and gives listeners the chance to hear a new side to their favourite DJs – both local and international.

In addition to this, DRIFT has shows on Edinburgh based community station EH-FM where founder SSID brings a selection of ambient, downtempo and chilled electronic to the airwaves.

This month we're treated to a very special guest mix from Liverpool based artist Cosmic Chaos. His club night Natural States has been a staple of the Liverpool scene over the last few years, bringing techno, breaks and a whole host of otherworldly sounds from artists such as Solid Blake to iconic venues across the city.
