As summer draws to a close, September marks the celebration of East and South East Asian Heritage Month. Here at MDR, we're aiming to commemorate and raise awareness for our local East and South East Asian communities through special programming, editorial content and more.

Launched by Britain’s East and South East Asian Network besea.n on behalf of the East and South East Asian community in the UK, it aims to uplift and champion ESEA communities in the UK and the vital contributions they make to society.

Liverpool is renowned for its large, historical and diverse ESEA communities. This month, we’re curating a varied and exciting program of radio and editorial content that seeks to uplift and increase the visibility of our ESEA communities here in Liverpool, the North West and across the UK.
