More about this show

Tune in each month as Chris McBride tears through his heaving record collection to bring you some of the finest in funk and soul music.

Chris has been supplying rare records to DJs and producers alike for many years. He also runs Choonz Inc Records – Liverpool’s best nu-soul label and has compiled many funk-soul breaks compilations including the Fat and Funky series for Fat City. Be sure to dig through his records at The Merchant, where he hosts The Groove Merchant record fair every first Saturday of the month.

This month Chris delves into his latest deliveries; a whole host of obscurities and rare 45’s that have made him a prominent record seller in the North West. Bringing the rare records that hit the highest brackets in his collection as well as music just-in from the postman, this is not one to miss…
