Hosted by Manchester based DJ Gloam, Music for Gatherings explores deep-rooted musical traditions, their modern re-imaginings, and the distinctive character of communal music. Inspired by Gloam’s love of both soundsystem focused club nights and trad folk sessions, Music for Gatherings is also a chance to chat about parallels between the seemingly disparate sounds of traditional folk and forward thinking club music.

So gather round to enjoy a selection of weird and wonderful tunes alongside odd ramblings on various topics such as why repetitive music is actually very cool and what Lethal Bizzle’s Pow has in common with 18th Century Norwegian fiddle tunes.
