Liverpool International Music Festival takes place in our beloved Sefton Park each summer. With a variety of stages, it plays host to artists from all over the genre spectrum, from big names to local favourites.

In 2019, LIMF brought the party to our park on 20-21st July, with headliners Nile Rogers and Disco Classical, plus main stage appearances from our very own LUNA and iamkyami.

As part of LIMF, the LIMF Academy developed an award-winning talent development programme, The Academy gives Merseyside’s most promising emerging talent the opportunity to grow and develop their craft as an artist/band.

The selected artists are mentored for the year and given opportunities such as London showcases, industry masterclasses and other performances opportunities. The Top 3 ‘Most Ready’ artists are also granted some funding, as well as the opportunity to perform on the LIMF Main stage.

Lots of good music from Academy past and present including new releases by Michael Aldag, Split Milk Society, Tonia, Lazygirl, RVHEEM, Eleanor Nelly and Kay Alex. Plus get the lowdown on LIMF Academy’s forthcoming music conference, OPEN SAUCE.
