Hailing from upstate New York, Ky Russell now resides in Manchester. One of Liverpool Independent Music Festival’s Top 3 ‘Most Ready’ Artists of 2018/19, Kyami writes and produces all her own material, including her debut single ‘Games’.

Inspired by a wide spectrum of genres and artists including Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill, you can expect to hear songs from that realm and beyond. Also an active user of social media, Ky invites you to discuss hot topics with her and get your creative juices flowing from the airwaves.

On this month's installment of Kickback Culture, iamkyami is joined by priyasvns, local Manchester creative; photographer, videographer, nutritionist and all around fun beb. During the rest of the show, you can hear a selection of iamkyami's favourite club baggers ranging from UKG to Jersey Club.
