When asked about his inspiration for the record, Seethe describes his father's happy hardcore influence and a sense of nostalgia when re-imagining a 90's dance-floor.

"My intention with the project was to create some timeless sounding club tracks that reimagined the old school energy I’ve been chasing across dance floors since clubs would let me in. When I was about 11 years old, my dad introduced me to the horn track by Egyptian Empire and I’ve been absolutely fascinated with breakbeat ever since, so the EP is also a reflection on a big part of my musical upbringing. All three tracks contain my interpretation of the energy I felt from the early ’90s rave tracks I grew up with."
